This summer, one ABC student and his wife are interning in Togo. As they offer medical services and other ministries, pray that God would guide them concerning a return to long-term missions in West Africa.

Congratulations to Anna Brinton, who received her LPN pin on Saturday! Missions-Nursing students at ABC work extra hard as they complete two B.A. majors (Bible/Theology and Missions) along with a Certificate in Practical Nursing. May God use Anna to skillfully meet both physical and spiritual needs.
We are pleased to welcome Mr. Kevin Gullion as Dean of Men. He is a 1995 B.A. graduate of ABC and also holds an M.A. in Ministry. After serving as a youth pastor, assistant pastor, senior pastor, and hospital chaplain, Mr. Gullion will make an excellent dean. His wife, Melissa, is also an ABC alumna; they have four daughters.

Throwing it back to 2006: ABC's very first graduate class, "The Church and Culture" with Dr. Anderson. Almost a decade later, the flexible M.A. program continues to equip Christian leaders. #tbt
"Quietly faithful and always dependable" is how Dr. Anderson describes Mrs. Donna Chesley, who served as a missionary at Appalachian Bible College alongside her husband, Ed. Her time at ABC began some 45 years ago when the Chesleys arrived as married students. Later, she held a series of behind-the-scenes but important positions serving our alumni, donors, Ladies Auxiliary, and family conference attendees. The Chesleys retired from ABC in 2012.
Mrs. Chesley was called into the presence of her Savior yesterday after fighting cancer with grace and courage for the last several months.

This week persecuted believers and their communities in Burma are being ministered to by a team including an ABC faculty member and a 2015 graduate. Pray that the medical clinics, construction work, and children's ministries would demonstrate God's great love.
