A balance of personal accountability, volunteer involvement, and required activities cultivates a stable and Christlike atmosphere at Appalachian Bible College. Come, grow in your relationship with the Lord alongside your peers and mentors!
Chapel
Three times a week, the campus body comes together to worship in song and to be challenged by the preaching of God's Word from a variety of speakers. The hour also includes prayer, testimonies, and Scripture memorization.

There's no campus church at ABC. In keeping with the College's mission to edify the Church, students attend local churches. With dozens of churches in the surrounding area of southern West Virginia, students have great opportunity to serve as Sunday school teachers, youth leaders, musicians, and more.
These local churches also provide many of the students opportunities to fulfill their Christian Service assignments, while others participate in some of the campus ministries.

Each student is involved in a small group of 3 to 4 students who meet for fellowship and accountability. Time together is spent encouraging one another in personal Bible study, prayer, and spiritual growth.
Devotions
Weekly devotions are held in the men’s and women’s residence halls. R.A.s, upperclassmen, and occasional guest speakers bring a Biblical challenge in a casual setting.
Prayer Partners
Each year, staff and faculty are matched with students as Prayer Partners, with the goal of exchanging prayer requests and praying for each other regularly.
Special Events
Missions Conference in the fall and the Pinter Lecture Series and Daniel L. and Rosalie W. Anderson Servant Leadership Symposium in the spring provide a break from classes and opportunity to interact with recognized Christian leaders.
