And right now, in the good times and bad
You are on Your throne, You are God alone.
Even the crickets were singing along during the guys' dorm devos.
Dale Murphy is a licensed plumber and he believes that by providing hot water, heating, and other construction needs, ABC students will have a comfortable and well-maintained environment in which they can prepare for ministry. Meanwhile, Colleen Murphy serves in the campus post office and is enrolled in two Bible classes.
After nine years of itinerant construction ministry, the Murphys joined Appalachian Bible Fellowship and moved here over the summer.
"God opened our eyes to see how very ripe the harvest field is but few are the workers to harvest (Luke 10:2). We believe God will use us to encourage, uplift, and pray for ABC students. We pray that each dorm room and apartment will be filled with students who are called to do the Lord's work."
Like most faculty and staff, the Murphys are missionaries sent by a local church and dependent on the prayers and gifts of God's people. Will you get involved?

The name "Stiles" is not new around campus, but these faces are. John and Aimee Stiles were the answer to much prayer when they arrived at ABC in August. They have experience in overseas missions, pastoring in the U.S., and Christian education. Now Mr. Stiles is our Director of Plant Services while Mrs. Stiles serves as Administrative Assistant to the President. And yes, they are the parents of Miss Abbey Stiles, Missions faculty.
The Stileses say, "God has pieced our life ministries together to equip us and bring us to ABC in His perfect timing. We are excited to be at such an instrumental place in helping to train the next generation of Christian servants. It is a privilege to use our gifts and experiences to impact students and serve the Lord!"
Like most ABC staff, they serve as faith missionaries. Here is how you can support the Stileses: (1) Request a prayer card when you email publicrelations@abc.edu (2) Donate at abc.edu/give

The theme of our 2016 Missions Conference is a direct quote from John Paton: "Rise Up and Offer Yourself." Acquaint yourself with a little of his story and how one person's willingness can have profound and eternal results. Produced by ABC students.
The second annual event included 160 participants and 20 volunteers. Thank you to everyone who helped raise $1,800 for Missions Conference!
What fruit will God bring from this week's Missions Conference, when many students answered the call to "Rise Up and Offer Yourself"?
God was at work during this week's annual Missions Conference. The preaching, workshops, music, prayer times, and interaction with more than 50 missionary guests all challenged us to "Rise Up and Offer Yourself."
