"For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth."
Even while most of them are far from ABC's sidewalks, students are walking in the truth—living out the Scripture's teachings that they have studied all year. Praise God.

"God has a way of sometimes shifting our plans, and at other times, God has a way of completely shattering them.
"It was my plan to walk in the 2021 ABC graduation after working 4 years to reach this point. However, God had different plans and just a couple days before graduation, I received the news that I had tested positive for COVID-19. The virus was very hard on me and developed into multiple hospitals visits and a stay in the ICU.
"There was one memorable night in the hospital when I did not know if I was going to make it, each breath was a chore, and I was unable to leave my bed. It seemed as though the light was fading. The doctors were not sure if I would pull through or not. Preparations were made to install a ventilator if my breathing did not improve. I learned later that I was not only battling COVID-19 but also pneumonia. Things were looking very grim.
"But God is good, and the following day the doctors began seeing improvement. Graduation had passed; I had missed Mother’s Day and even my own birthday, but I was on the road to recovery now. At my follow up appointment a month later, one of my doctors told me that it was a miracle that I recovered. I know that many people were praying for me and my family while I was sick.
"I even got a flower while in the hospital! That flower is very special to me because it illustrates God’s grace. While I was at the hospital, I was unable to care for the flower, so by the time I was released, the flower was wilted. Instead of throwing it away, my family decided to bring it home and care for it. After several weeks, the flower revived and began to bloom again. It was a reminder to me that God is able to restore not only flowers, but also people at any point in their lives. We could be withering and breaking and our whole world could be crumbling away, but as long as we believe in the One who quickens the dead, the One who brought us out of sin and death, there is always hope for a new beginning. One of the greatest things about the Christian life is that it is full of new beginnings."

Hear from Audrey, a student from Maryland, about why she chose ABC.
With hundreds of guests here every week for our Alpine Ministries camps and retreats, these facilities don't keep themselves clean. Three cheers for Mr. Robinson's crew who maintain the campus this summer!

Join us in welcoming Mrs. Aimee Stiles, Chair of the Elementary Education ministry major.
Having served five years as Administrative Assistant to the President, Mrs. Stiles is no stranger around ABC. Also a pastor's wife, she brims with enthusiasm for educating and discipling young people.
"In a world that is so upside down, it is important for Christian teachers to be pouring their lives into their students, preparing them to be academically strong and discipling them to be spiritually strong. A teacher's daily example, intentional instruction, and conversations within the supportive environment of the Christian school can provide incredible opportunities to impact eternity. We are losing Christian young people to the world's philosophy—but Biblically trained, Christian teachers can help build the foundation on the solid Rock of Christ and His Word.
"Having been a teacher and administrator in Christian schools, I am excited about training the next generation of Christian teachers. We desire teachers who love the Lord, are passionate about their calling, and are well trained in the field. Their potential for ministry in education is powerful, much needed, and highly sought after. What a privilege to be entrusted by the Lord to touch the lives of precious children!"

Rev. Lucky Shepard went home to be with the Lord on July 25, 2021.
Rev. Shepard and his first wife Helen joined the staff in 1962. He was active in the radio ministry, directed the Christian service program, and operated the print shop. Often he would accompany his preaching with chalk drawings. He started a male quartet and mixed ensemble, and when the Music program began, he was asked to chair the department. Rev. Shepard's name endures as arranger of the school song, "The Prayer of ABC."
God can use YOU to take the Gospel to others. A B.A. in Bible/Theology and Missions is a great place to start!
"I enjoy serving at ABC. This is an opportunity to train a new generation of young people to serve the Lord in the power of the Holy Spirit through local churches at home and abroad on mission fields around the world.
"It is a privilege to follow in the footsteps of my father, Dr. Joseph K. Pinter, who served at ABC for 40 years. God has given me a wonderful opportunity to disciple students through teaching Bible courses, coordinating the HELP program providing academic assistance, and chairing the Interdisciplinary major."
