The campus and facilities sparkle thanks to everyone's help during Work Day! Now we're ready to welcome guests for Commencement weekend and a summer full of camps and retreats.
The baccalaureate class of 2022 presented their Senior Program focused on their class motto, "Find Us Faithful," and their class verse, I Timothy 4:12: "Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity in spirit, in faith, in purity."
Next up: Commencement at 10am Saturday. Watch online: abc.edu/live

Congratulations to the recipients of the Delta Epsilon Chi Honor Society Award: Allison Bowsher (pictured), Steven Burns, and Audrey Jones.
The purpose of this society is to encourage and honor outstanding academic scholarship, approved Christian character, and Christian leadership ability among the accredited schools of The Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE). The name Delta Epsilon Chi means "approved in Christ" and is taken from the first Greek letter in each word of this phrase in Romans 16:10.
Congratulations to those who graduated with Highest Honors: Matthew Allinger, Steven Burns, Audrey Jones, Katelyn Robinson, and Stephanie Zulauf.
Before the spring semester concluded, over $80,000 in private scholarships was distributed to these students! Generous donors include alumni, local businesses, and anonymous friends. Thank you to each one.

This month we bid farewell to Dave and Linda Childs, Vice President for Student Services and Dean of Women for the last 15 years. Their faithful service, godly leadership, harmonious marriage, good humor, and deep wisdom have been invaluable assets to ABC as we equip servants. In addition to their work in Student Services, Dean Childs served as faculty and Pastoral Major Chair, while Mrs. Childs produced the Gleaner (yearbook) and served on the Ladies Auxiliary.
Kevin Gullion, the new Vice President, reflects, "Over the years that I’ve worked under [Dave Childs] as Dean of Men I have seen a man who genuinely loves those with whom he works and has a heart desire to see them walk worthy of the Lord (I Thess. 2:11-12). This has not only included the student body but I have seen it include me and others who worked on our staff."
And Melissa Gullion, who succeeds Mrs. Childs as Dean of Women says, "The spiritual strength, wisdom, discernment, and love that [Linda Childs] displayed daily in her interaction with students came from her close relationship with the Lord. The time and study that she spends in the Word of God was evident as she counseled, encouraged and guided them."
Join us in wishing Dean and Mrs. Childs a blessed retirement!
Women of all ages will enjoy the Bible teaching of Reba Bowman along with the music, meals, and fellowship of Ladies Conference: June 17-18. Teens will have special sessions with Lisa Potter. Register online:
