Over the summer, ABC added alumni Joel and Heather Cook to our staff. Mrs. Cook serves as Administrative Assistant to the VP for Development, while Mr. Cook serves as Assistant Director of Plant Services.
"There is nothing that can compare to the joy and necessity of studying God's Word! During our time as students at ABC, we were saturated in God's Word. Not only growing in the knowledge and understanding of God and His Word, but also in our personal and precious relationship with our Creator and Savior. We saw in our lives, and in the lives of those around us, how instrumental those years were for the maturing of our faith and walk with the Lord. This is what made us love the ministry of ABC!
"Through our first year of marriage, God closed a few doors on ministries that we thought He desired us to dedicate our lives to. Yet, as that year came to a close God very clearly opened the door for us to return to ABC and serve Him here as we seek to bring Him the glory and honor He is entitled to. The honor of serving alongside the staff and faculty of ABC is an incredible blessing. Knowing that we now have the privilege and responsibility to invest in the lives of the students around us and to pass on any nuggets of wisdom that the staff and faculty taught us is humbling and stretching."
